First we would like to give our best thanks to all the players that have tried Prohibeast today, especially to those who gave us feedback about issues and bugs.

We have read all the comments regarding these issues, and we are pleased to announce our first patch.

Bug Fixes

Player

  • Fixed an issue causing Eliot to not be able to go through “sneakIn” after reloading, during a grab or carrying a body ;

  • Fixed an issue where the player would not generate noise while walking or running ;

AI & Enemy Behavior

  • Fixed enemy ragdolls not behaving correctly when near environmental objects ;

  • Fixed an issue with enemy line of sight after loading a save made before being detected ;

  • Attempted to fix an issue causing NPCs that were talking during their patrol to become stuck in the talking state after loading a save, preventing them from continuing their patrol ;

Success

  • Fixed an issue causing the achievement "Cacophony" to unlock when its conditions were not met ;

Settings

  • Attempted to fix an issue causing many settings to be inaccurate and causing the game cursor to be invisible. It was due to an old folder remaining from the demo version of the game ;

If you are still experiencing cursor or settings issues, try following these steps:

Press Windows+R, navigate to AppData > LocalLow > SuperAC > Prohibeast and delete the PlayerData folder and restart your game. This will reset your settings to default the next time you enter the game. Do not delete any other folders, as doing so may affect your game progress.

General Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed texture issues on walls in certain levels ;

  • Moved some tutorial text to better locations to prevent environmental objects from obscuring them ;

  • Fix an issue causing the weapons, frisbee and other items to swing in the ground when dropped ;

  • Fixed some end of level statistics displaying incorrect values ;

  • Other minor fixes ;

Known Issues

  • Eliot's "moonwalk" issue ;

  • Saves can be corrupted while loading directly from the main menu, if you become soft-locked you can try restarting the level or going back to the Hub ;

  • In the “Tutorial” level, if a save is made when a police officer attacks an enemy, and that save is then loaded, the police officer will not tie up the unconscious enemy. This causes the police officer to become detected later on, which ultimately leads to mission failure ;

  • In the level “Silver Tongue” when saving at a specific time and reloading the waiter can become soft-locked preventing certain objectives from being completed. You can try knocking him out and waiting for him to get up to unlock the situation ;

  • Some enemies can teleport when patrolling, causing them to become stuck in the environment ;

  • When taking a “linked door” a sphere will appear above the player's head ;

  • After reloading some enemies will ignore the player ;

  • Some end stats are incorrect ;

  • When selecting multiple characters Tina can be selected in the UI despite not being in the selection or the level ;

  • During objective update the UI can be misplaced on the top right of the screen ;
