I pushed an update to Prime Protocol focused on improving the platformer experience, especially the overall feel, readability, and presentation of the run.
Here’s what changed:
GAMEPLAY
Adjusted generation/reach behavior to reduce repetitive jump patterns and improve the feel of traversing the run.
Visuals/Polish
Reworked the abyss/ocean background so it displays properly in builds instead of only looking correct in-editor.
Expanded the background treatment so the ocean fills the intended space instead of appearing as a narrow slice.
Added more blending between the ocean and horizon line to make the scene feel more cohesive and less visually harsh.
Tuned the visual atmosphere so the lower area feels more like a true abyss instead of a flat backdrop.
Improved video/background behavior so it remains active and stable during runtime.
Reworked instability VFX.
Store Page
Working on updating all store page assets to showcase the new VFX.
This update is part of the ongoing push to make Prime Protocol feel more intentional, more immersive, and more solid moment to moment. A lot of Early Access work is not just adding content — it’s making sure the experience actually feels right when you’re in it. Thank you to everyone following the project early, testing builds, giving feedback, and supporting the vision. More improvements are coming.
Wishlist / follow / support if you want to help push the project forward.
