addedDear Reader,0.7 : 11 new enemies (fox, hedgehog, swan, snail, wasps, bird, dog x2, postbox x3)
addedDear Reader,0.9 : 15 new items to buy in the shop (and hordes that spawn each day!)
addedDear Reader,In the upcoming final update before 1.0 release I've made a bunch of bugfixes, balance tweaks and added in items that enemies have a chance of dropping! This is something that I've been wanting to add from the start (I remember an early review mentioning them missing). They'll be the classic bomb and magnet style items along with an item that makes you invincible and a couple that give you temporary stat boosts.
addedDear Reader,There may be some other smaller additions to the game if I have time but I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who's given feedback so far or bought the game. I've been making this for nearly a year now and it was my first attempt to code and create a game. I've learnt so much and I appreciate you joining me for the ride.

Dear Reader,

I've come with exciting news: Postal Strike will release in 1.0 at some point before the end of March!

A bit vague I admit but we're nearly there. So far in Early Access I've added:

  • 0.711 new enemies (fox, hedgehog, swan, snail, wasps, bird, dog x2, postbox x3)
  • 0.8: 5 news letters (First Class, Second Class, Large Letter, Package and Snail Mail)

  • 0.915 new items to buy in the shop (and hordes that spawn each day!)

In the upcoming final update before 1.0 release I've made a bunch of bugfixes, balance tweaks and added in items that enemies have a chance of dropping! This is something that I've been wanting to add from the start (I remember an early review mentioning them missing). They'll be the classic bomb and magnet style items along with an item that makes you invincible and a couple that give you temporary stat boosts.

Also you may have noticed the pigeon that flies above you at the start of each run... in this update they'll finally be more of a point to him. But I'll leave that one as a surprise for now.

There may be some other smaller additions to the game if I have time but I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who's given feedback so far or bought the game. I've been making this for nearly a year now and it was my first attempt to code and create a game. I've learnt so much and I appreciate you joining me for the ride.

Yours thankfully,

Jimmy
