Version 1.1 is up!

I'm happy to announce that the first major update for Polismos is finally up :) Highlighted changes Warehouse: store goods for later use!

I'm happy to announce that the first major update for Polismos is finally up :)

Highlighted changes

  • Warehouse: store goods for later use!

  • Monopteros: small & cheap recreation building

  • Delay demands: give yourself some more time

  • Evening mode: for maximum coziness :)

  • Lots of balancing to make the game more forgiving, flexible, and fun

Warehouses dedicated to wood and stone in the city center can speed up construction significantly

Additions

  • Ability to postpone demand deadlines

  • Expanded tutorialization

Balancing

  • Max simultaneous construction request 5 -> 7

  • Highest game speed increased by 10%

  • Demands appear less frequently

  • Opinion can increase over time with trade partners

  • Marble max trade frequency per year 6 -> 8

  • Other cities attack later and less frequently

Error fixing

  • Improved collision detection for buildings

  • Requests from ignored buildings no longer appear in shortage list or in the goods panel list

  • Fixed a rare bug which caused armies to not arrive

  • Fixed a bug which caused the season visuals to go out of sync

  • "Paused" and "Ignore" text no longer incorrectly shows in building panel

  • No longer possible to ally invalid cities due to alliance-panel staying open

  • Demand to break free can no longer happen when player is currently breaking free

  • Horizon now visable in "day" lighting mode

  • Fixed a bug which could cause returning army to briefly float in the air

  • The number indicating offered goods not shown in building panel now appears correctly

  • Spelling corrections

Other

  • Volume and frequency reduction of coughing sounds

  • Improved demand appearing sound

  • Visual changes to the winery building

  • Added mouse-over to see additional offered goods in the building panel

  • Added another encyclopedia entry

  • Other minor UI improvements
