Pocket Racer Shop Sim changes
Playtest Now Open
Posted by: That One Guy Loki from That One Game Studio
Hey everyone,
I’m excited to share that the Pocket Racer Shop Sim playtest is now open.
If you’ve been following along with development and have been waiting for a chance to jump in, now is the perfect time.
What to Expect
This playtest build includes:
The core shop loop
Car customization and tuning
Racing and track interaction
Multiplayer functionality
Recent updates to UI, visuals, and overall polish
It’s still very much a work in progress, but it’s in a great place to start getting more hands-on feedback.
How to Join
You can request access directly from the Steam store page.
Once you’re in, you’ll be able to download the playtest and start building, racing, and running your shop.
Feedback Is a Huge Help
If you do jump in, I’d really appreciate any thoughts you have.
There’s a feedback form linked directly in the game’s main menu, where you can:
Share your experience
Report bugs
Suggest features
Let me know what feels good and what doesn’t
There’s also a link to the Discord server in the main menu if you’d prefer to chat directly. I’ll be around and happy to talk through feedback, ideas, or just see how your experience is going.
Playtest Window
I’m planning to keep the playtest open for the next couple of weeks while I gather feedback and identify areas to improve.
After that, I’ll take what I’ve learned and continue refining things as I move toward a polished demo.
Thanks for Being Here
Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or just found the game recently, thank you for taking the time to check it out.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you all think and continuing to build this out with your feedback.
Feel free to drop thoughts in the discussion section as well.
More updates soon.
