Plastic Battlegrounds changes
Good mooorniiinng, Plastic Battlegrounds!!!
The Greenhouse Jungle has finally been released in our largest update since multiplayer! While this release focuses more on single player features it doesn’t skimp on the multiplayer content. We hope you enjoy playing this release as much as we enjoyed programming it for you!
Single Player
New Maps:
Jungle Greenhouse Map.
The jungle greenhouse map has finally been released and it has been completely revamped with a complex network of hidden tunnels.
New unlockable and secret weapons (listed below)
New Big mode tutorial Map
Learn the ins and outs of building, destroying, and fighting in Bigmode in our new basement tutorial map.
New Command system added!
Send commands to your troops on the battlefield.
Follow Player, Hold, Charge or go to waypoint.
Select one troop or send orders to all of them
New command system Introduces RTS elements to Plastic Battlegrounds
Player parachutes added!
While in mid air press and hold the Jump button until the parachute deploys
To drop from the parachute, press and hold the jump button until you start falling.
New Weapons (most are also reloadable)
Flamethrower, Marksman Vulcan, MAT49, PKP, PPK42, Republic Civilian Carbine, SKS, The Beehive, Trench Gun, Uzi, Uzi (w/ Silencer) Cody’s Gun, MG42, KAR98
New Riot shield for Single Player
New spike trap for Single Player.
New hidden statues and unlockable units

New/Updated Bigmode props
Cassette player has intractable buttons an Loadable cassette
Poison sprays & water bottles have better grips and animated triggers.
Soda Cans have interactable pull tabs
Interactive Scissors allow you to cut your soldiers down to size!
New Twin gun Tank
Twin Gun Tank (Sparka tank ZSU-57-2 SPAA) was added to the Vehicles as a new NPC and player drivable tank.
M45 Anti Aircraft Gun
AA Gun can be controlled by the player or operate as a NPC.
New Spawnable props
Gym Equipment.
Barbell, dumbbell, Pullup bar
Plants & Foliage.
C47 paratrooper plane with Interior Fuselage

Grappling gun added to Support category so that it can be disabled by the host.
Editable food restores some health when eaten in big mode.
Bug fixes/Polish
Fixed SteamVR black screen bug
Some players were not able to launch the game VR and only got a black screen.
PCVR controller orientation bug fixed
Jungle map colliders won’t catch the player randomly
Removed Garand Ping Sound From NonReloadable Version
Removed Double jump and reduced in air control acceleration
Sneaks peeks at our next few updates.
Our next updates will focus on new NPCs, AI vehicles, and behaviors including the ability to mount vehicles as well as heavy optimization to improve performance across the board. More playable & AI tanks is a high priority. We will also be working on new weapons, NPC’s, and levels. You will also see some quality of life improvements such as wrist menu features and more Multiplayer host control. Under the hood optimizations will improve performance in both Multiplayer and single player. We are always trying to improve Plastic Battlegrounds. If anyone has any suggestions, feedback, or finds a bug, we want to know about it. Please let us know in Discord or on SteamVR community threads!
