Planetary Governor changes
Lots of ways to visualise the game's data and a bunch of other related changes and improvements. Also the Steam Summer Sale starts at 6pm GMT today and continues for a fortnight so if you're thinking of buying and reading this just beforehand wait until that starts to get a 12% discount.
Added a line graph to a new tab in the sector window, which has a bunch of different toggle-able lines to show history for things like item production, population, faction leader opinions, and more. Lines can be set to share relative max and min values or use their own max and min values. Mousing over the graph shows a tooltip telling you what each colour line means and its value at that point.
Made changes to how laws and chambers work which includes a hemicycle chart of seats to better visualise the chamber. This chart updates automatically when editing the chamber to show how the seats change in real time. Added option for minimum global seats per faction to chamber data. This guarantees each faction a certain number of seats, which will result in less influential factions gaining more seats than they would otherwise. Added tooltips to sliders in chamber edit view explaining how they effect seat distribution to factions.
Added a "Compliance" option to the righthand dropdown menu which gives a summary of how many characters in each faction are willing to obey (will obey public demands) and deal (willing to make secret deals).
Summary list of other changes from recent opentest branch updates:
Minimised top bar with icons instead of text and tooltips on mouse over with more full descriptions, and moved time controls to the side.
Merged in-game settings and save windows into a pause menu that includes save, settings, quit to manin menu and quit to desktop.
Added autosave on quit option to quit confirm dialog.
Added little main menu messages for easter related dates with option to choose western with Gregorian pc calendar, eastern with Gregorian pc calendar, & eastern with Julian pc calendar.
Changed how equipment is kept and required by units. Before it would refresh every day a unit wasn't in a conflict, putting everything back into the production stockpile before redistributing. Now it only checks to return items to the stockpile if that item type is not needed by the unit and takes the difference between it's required and current equipment.
Added new option to edit sector name during gameplay in info tab of selected sector window.
Made checkmark toggles take up a bit less whitespace.
Added loading text to more loading times and make them feel less like a freeze.
Fixed a bunch of bugs.
Added more localisation and made more things use localisation.
Theoretically improved performance in some areas, including using more recycling lists.
Visual changes to various bits of the ui.
Made more things moddable, such as sector names list used when generating sectors in a new planet, or the lists used for generating prng advisor title and chamber names.
Added button controls to slide between planet and moons, defaults to "Z/X" and ",/." Also works with speed controls and rebindable in options menu (mouse drag still works).
Added middle click drag to rotate planet (keyboard buttons still work too).
Added keyboard controls to increase and decrease game speed, default to +/= increase & - decrease. also rebindable in options menu controls tab.
Made planet rotate speeds able to be set in options menu gameplay tab. options for key rotate speed, mouse rotate speed, speed up modifier (default shift) and slow down modifier (default ctrl).
Removed Unity's "old" input system from the game.
Fixed some pregen sliders showing incorrect number before being changed.
Cleared out some unneeded project files.
When editing a chamber, now shows how opinion would change due to chamber's current law powers (so chambers without powers will show zero on all changes).
Added second pie chart to sector window info tab to show sector units' strength comparison, and accopanying list.
Added delegation upgrade search priority: leveling one building (current) or leveling different buildings.
Added delegation upgrade ordering: default (current), random, least compliant first, and most compliant first.
Recycling grid lists now automatically resize the number of entries on each row to fit the current grid area instead of being fixed to 3 entries per row.
for now, changed now much faction opinion is gained from law powers and increased the negative opinion modifier from forcing a law change against factions with veto power.
Changes are not compatible with saves and planets made in previous versions of main branch.
