  • Performance
changedLana’s home world of Novo is a small, earth-like moon orbiting a blue giant on the edge of the habitable zone of a distant solar system. The moon is the crash-site of one of Old Earth's first-generation seed-arcs: The Seed & Leaf Expedition.
changedThe largest continent stretches from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere and spans a diverse range of biomes and ecosystems. Lush deciduous forests and tall mountain ranges occupy the equator regions, developing into open grasslands in the mid-latitudes, and arid deserts and tundras fringe the high latitudes. Small ice caps have developed in the terrestrial parts of the high latitudes, but no extensive polar ice sheets exist today. Intelligent life forms include a current (but vital) human population, which is descended from the seed-arc crash survivors. Population size is unknown.

Vast seas of liquid water surround several large uplifted continents, with mountain ranges dissecting their inner parts. Large archipelagos and shallow seas surround the continents, while deep ocean trenches and basins keep them apart. Much like Old Earth, active plate tectonics controls the distribution of continents, seas, and mountains on Novo.
