Pizza Oof! changes
Recently, we’ve been watching videos from players and creators who played Pizza Oof! on YouTube and social media. Seeing how people actually play the game helped us discuss, in detail, which parts felt confusing, difficult, or uncomfortable.
Based on those videos and player feedback, we made several changes in this hotfix after a lot of internal discussion. This update improves some visual elements, UI/UX, and guidebook content. It also fixes collision issues with environmental objects, resolves a camera issue after respawning, and adjusts the balance of some animals.
Throughout Early Access, we will continue listening to player feedback and updating the game to create a better overall experience.
Update
Updated the save icon, tip receipt, and intro textures.
Changed the bag grab interaction from hover-based to click-based.
Adjusted the positions of some checkpoints.
Improved collision for environmental objects such as trees and bushes.
Guidebook content has been improved with new pages, added outlines and effects, and larger font sizes for better readability.
Added sparkling effects to gatherable items to make them easier to notice.
Changed HUD key prompts from text to icons and adjusted some UI layouts.
Increased the stun duration for crocodiles and beavers to give players more time to escape.
Removed items that appeared attached to yellow random-item balloons.
Increased the time before piranhas can attack again.
Fix
Fixed an issue where the camera could occasionally rotate after a player respawned.
We will continue improving the overall gameplay experience. Your continued interest and feedback will help us make Pizza Oof! a better game.
Thank you to everyone who has played Pizza Oof!, shared videos, and sent us feedback. Please, just keep the pizza safe! 🍕
