addedThe launch of Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory is in the final stages , and I’m delighted to be able to present another new feature here, which will be integrated directly into the game at launch. Let me introduce you to: the World Tour in Arcade Mode! 🔥 Who doesn’t recognise that feeling from old-school arcade games, when you’re on a long run through different stages against increasingly tough opponents, and after minutes of gameplay you’re on the verge of beating the final level – only for your nerves to let you down at the last minute, forcing you to start all over again? The arcade games you’ll recognise from the demo will be integrated into the full game as ‘Single Match’ mode. The Arcade Mode is expanded by the ‘World Tour’, which includes local and global Steam leaderboards, as every completed World Tour run is also scored, so you can try to beat your own or the world’s best high score with every run! Specifically, there will be three different circuits available as part of the World Tour at launch:
addedThe World Tour Runs are structured so that there are a total of six stages which the player must complete. You cannot save your progress in between stages, nor can you change your player or darts. As soon as you lose, the run is considered lost and the high score is calculated. The difficulty increases with every stage! Matches are always played as best-of-one (BO1), and the player gets to throw the first leg. The World Tour Runs are designed to allow for fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, whilst also giving players a sense of progression through the increasing difficulty of each run. And let’s be honest: what could be better than finally completing a run after your tenth attempt? A complete run, assuming you complete all six stages, takes around 15 to 20 minutes! What do you think of this new mode? Do let me know!

  • World: Opponents from all over the world in locations from all over the world!
