I like to keep everyone updated as I continue to work on Pixel Art - Mash-Up.
My goal is always to make new content and add to the experience while making sure everything is fair and balanced for the player while at the same time still challenging.
Reflex Rounds
Over the next week or so I will be adding a "Reflex Round" to the end of both current levels.
These will be shorter rounds with more intense enemy spawns. Will you buckle under the pressure or will you be able to keep your cool as enemies spawn fast?
Level Design
I want the levels to be a little more visually appealing so I'm working on some new level layouts for the current levels and different versions for the Reflex Rounds.
Enemy AI The boss-type enemies are something I want to put up a good fun fight. As they are now I feel they are a little easy and could use a little work. With this in mind, I do have a few ideas on how to make them a little more challenging but I won't ruin the surprise.
More To Come
I work on this game every day and there will be more to come. Dozens of new enemies, new levels, new bosses, and new challenges. It will take me time to balance all of this properly and I will be looking for feedback to see what people think of the game through each step.
Right now the max level for the player is 10. You will achieve this by the end of the level 2 reflex round.
How you spend all your skill points matter for the challenging enemies that you will encounter in the levels that follow.
I am excited to see how all these things will turn out and hope you will join me in the process!
