Piczle Cross Adventure changes
Piczle Cross Adventure mini-update now includes SAFE MODE.
Toggle SAFE MODE by pressing CTRL-C.
Q: What is SAFE MODE? A: SAFE MODE changes nothing about the game but puts all human characters (and Gig) in protective face masks to show their support for protecting their fellow human beings (and whatever Gig is)!
Q: Why? A: Video games are an escape from reality but also reflect reality. You may want to experience Piczle Cross Adventure through the lens of today's climate. The new normal is people talking about "new normals", as well as wearing protective face masks when out in public to help protect the vulnerable. Score-chan, Gig and the professor want to do their bit!
Q: SAFE MODE infringes on my constitutionally protected rights to not see video game characters with face masks on. A: The good news is that there is not yet any scientific evidence that tells us the virus is spread through digital media, so SAFE MODE in Piczle Cross Adventure is entirely optional.
