PHASE ZERO changes
To say that our game has over 100,000 Steam Wishlists is absolutely nuts. For an independent developer, that number is genuinely hard to wrap your head around; it means that our game has hit a positive nerve with people and they’re excited to see it come out. That’s really flattering, motivating, and frankly, it puts a little bit of pressure too - that's 100k people waiting for our game to release!
So thank you for giving us support, wishlisting our game, being active on our Discord, X, Steam, and just being the coolest community around. You guys rule, and don’t let anyone say otherwise. If they do, we’ll send Legs after them.
The other big news is that PHASE ZERO is taking part in the June Steam Next Fest. Our current demo has been updated with a few new quality of life improvements, with most of them being a result of your feedback and suggestions. So if you haven’t already, give it a shot. Would love to hear what you think.
We can now finally reveal the voices behind two of PHASE ZERO's key characters. The role of Cindy is being played by the super-talented Daisy James. And our Mary, one of our playable characters, is now being voiced by the equally-talented Rain Lefever (while you’re here, give her a follow on X).
While talking about Mary, you might’ve noticed our key art got a refresh too, with Mary taking center stage. What do you reckon? Does it set the mood?
We are now deep, deep in production mode. If you’re curious to see how our production process looks like, we will have an in-depth interview published on survivalhorrors.com tomorrow. We are looking at a 2026 release, so when you really think about it, it’s not that long to go. Hope that you will like what we’ve got in store for you.
Once again, thank you for all your support, feedback, and being named Most Anticipated Game by the survivalhorrors.com community is something we're still processing. Starting work each day with a coffee and positive comments from you all really sets the mood nicely, so thanks a ton for that.
As always, stay safe out there people. The streets of Flint Peak are not as friendly as they used to be.
Until next time,
SPINA Studio
