PengPong changes
Steamās Bullet Fest begins today, and PengPong is also participating in the festival. While enjoying the other games featured in the event, we hope you will also take the opportunity to check out PengPongās latest update!
Endless Mode Temporarily Unavailable:
The previous update and this update introduced many changes to the gameās level design. As a result, we have decided to temporarily disable Endless Mode until we can complete a stable and properly balanced level design for it. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We would like to thank everyone who loves PengPong and those who have played Endless Mode in the demo.
We promise to bring Endless Mode back as soon as possible. We will share another update and more information once it is ready.
New Achievements:
The PengPong Demo now features 10 new achievements that you can show off to your friends! The full version is planned to include at least 50 achievements.
Gameplay Improvements:
Stat upgrades gained from leveling up will no longer interrupt combat. From now on, all level-up choices will appear together at the end of each wave. Unless you pick up an item chest, combat will no longer be interrupted by selection screens. This should prevent situations where leveling up with only 1 Heart remaining causes you to lose track of your movement and get defeated.
The item chest UI has been redesigned. Item rarity is now displayed more clearly, and the [Skip] button is easier to see.
Items displayed in shops and Unknown Rooms now show their rarity more clearly.
Path indicators have been added to charging monsters, making their attack routes easier to identify.
Pressing [TAB] on the stage selection screen now takes you directly to the Upgrade menu.
Level Design Changes:
The movement speed of some monsters has been reduced.
Other Changes and Fixes:
Jazz BGM has been added to several Unknown Rooms. When you need a break or a quick trip to the bathroom feel free to stop by an Unknown Room, relax with some jazz, and enjoy a cup of tea.
Boss death animations have been added.
Several UI elements have been improved.
Fixed an issue where some additional option descriptions were misaligned depending on the font size and formatting of certain localized languages.
Fixed incorrect control prompts for Xbox controllers.
Enhanced the visual effects that appear when Max HP is reduced by purchasing an item from the Devilās Shop or obtaining certain items.
Fixed an issue where an item from an Unknown Room would remain visible during combat if the player returned without obtaining it.
