Pelikeeper changes
1.2 Patch Notes
Updated the waves for levels 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and the Boss
Updated waves include new Fish School and Hermit Crab enemies
Fish Schools spawn a group of small fish that travel down the path together and are each immune to piercing projectiles
Hermit Crab enemies will move down the path slowly and randomly stop to hide in their shell, becoming immune to damage for a short period of time
Total wave number will increase as you progress through the demo (to introduce new enemies at a reasonable pace). This means that the overall demo is shorter, but is much more fun to complete and not as long
Overhauled stardust economy and readjusted stardust to be gained per enemy damaged/killed rather than over the course of a wave (this means you get more stardust as you kill more enemies rather than getting a big burst of stardust when completing a wave)
Base rat tower attack speed changed from 0.65 to 0.635
Frog tower base price decreased from 335 stardust to 300
Frog tower bottom path tier 1 upgrade decreased from 320 to 290
Frog projectile speed increased by 25%
VASTLY increased performance (no lag spikes should occur even on high intensity rounds)
Level 1.3 has been completely redone with a new path for enemies
Level 1.4 has been removed (rip)
The Boss level will start you with more stardust than normal levels
Base Building has been reworked and now allows you to walk around and talk to animals as they wander around the town
Lots of miscellaneous polish to towers, boss level, base building and bugfixes across the game
There's a LOT more we have planned for the full game, and we're full speed ahead on more enemies, bigger and better boss fights, many new animals, towers, project upgrades, decorations and a bunch of new levels! We're very happy with where the demo stands with version 1.2 and would love to hear your feedback on what you think.
Also, we plan to run a series of playtests in the future so be sure to wishlist the game to get notified of when the playtest goes live and stay up to date with our updates & launch plans.
ALSO also here's a sneek peak of a new Season we are working on. I hear things get a bit harder to defend in the Fall...
Thanks for reading and more info to come soon!
