Wow it's been over two months since the launch of the Pelikeeper demo, and we're a bit embarrassed that it's taken us this long to push another update.... but fret not! We are back in the swing of things and have a small(ish) update in preparation for our first large content update.
Why isn't the game done it's been like forever
So we've been pretty busy the last couple of months, not just on Pelikeeper but I don't want to spoil too many secrets just yet! Game development takes a long time and our attention has been a bit split on multiple things, but rest assured the game is getting made and we are very excited to continue making new content while updating the demo to be the most representative experience of the full game.
What's in the update?
Many things, some larger changes on the backend to help performance and other bugs but some of the major changes include:
Rework of shadow visuals for clarity
Fixed bugs relating to symbiosis for Frog and Pack Rat
Fixed miscellaneous bugs with waves breaking & softlocks
Fixed bugs with tower placement & upgrading
Adjusted progression + tutorial to be more concise
Light bombs are unlocked from the start of the demo
Major performance overhaul (still a work in progress, please let us know if you have performance issues!)
This is just the first portion of a larger content update that will be coming very soon so hold on just a bit longer!
