Hey Parasites!
Throughout the past month, we’ve been making a lot of progress with the new levels and organelles for the full game. We don’t have a demo update for you just yet, as we are deep inside the human heart, mapping out the maze of arteries.
What we do have, though, is an almost-complete Lungs level all set for the full game, and the Heart, which we’re working on right now. Below is an early preview at some of the dangers in the Lungs, as well as a sneak peek at the Heart.
Lungs Early Preview
Lungs literally hold the breath of life. Air flows in and out of this crucial organ every single second to keep us moving, which is why air will be the element we want to feature in traps and enemy attacks.
Inspired by the air sacs of lungs in real life, this future level will be laden with traps that harness the power of air flow. Once triggered, every organism nearby will be sucked in, sometimes with an explosive follow-up. Will it be the doom of your pathogen? Or an exploitable opportunity to capture your enemies?
New immune cells patrol this new organ, and they will be deadlier than ever with special air-based attacks and abilities. Supported by the already-in-game Adaptive immune cells, your pathogens will be expecting a tough fight.
Sneak Peek into the Heart
With the Lungs mostly complete, we are moving our focus towards the next level: the Heart. As one of the two most important organs inside our bodies, if the Heart goes down, so will the human body.
The immune system will be mustering its most powerful defenders in one last desperate attempt to shut down your infection. And even if you get past these cells, there will still be one final gatekeeper standing between you and victory…

The new levels are coming together nicely over the last few weeks and we're very happy with development progress, More organelles and other new content are gradually added to the game and an exciting piece of news is right around the corner.
