Hi everyone,
Pathogenic's Demo will be getting a new patch every two weeks, starting with a bunch of new content today! In this update, we are bringing you new weapons, organelles, a new enemy and a range of rebalancing, optimizations and fixes.
New Weapons and Organelles
3 new weapons have been added to your arsenal. Your pathogen now has more firepower than ever before! (Try not to get hit by your own explosions though.)
Dehiscence Lobber: powerful bombs with a risk of friendly fire.
Cnidocyst: ties down target with a thread
Rotary Extruder: bullets go brrrrr when overcharged
11 new internal organelles have also been added for more interesting synergies in your build combos.
New Enemy
The Wave Macrophage joins the battle, mostly appearing in the Stomach area. It has a wide AOE attack and can be dangerous in tight spaces.

Toxins disappear after finishing a room with Toxin Spreaders
Plasmid fragments are now attracted to you
Rooms spawning next to the start rooms are now even easier
Optimizations
Added control remapping and input icons matching the connected controller type
Added controller rumble
Improved Helmith jank, it should no longer tangle in itself and get stuck in walls
Added a screen transition animation
Significantly optimized level generation loading times
Graphics and physics optimizations

Improved the distortion of the cells in walls
Added normal maps to special room hallway props
Added more vein props to rooms
Updated UI for the fast travel prompt
