Dev Diary #2 Explore new bioms

Today we want to show you the new parts of the island that you can visit in Path to Tamer Town. You’ll explore places covered in mysterious mist, a hot volcano area, a Toxic zone, and many other locations.

Let’s take a look at what’s waiting for you!

The Volcanic Biome

The Volcanic Biome features areas where fire and heat visibly shape the landscape.

Characteristics:

• scorched ground

• cracked rocks

• traces of lava and ash

• hot air with a red–orange color scheme

These parts of the world feel unstable and harsh, a place where fire-type creatures feel right at home.

The Mist Biome

The Mist Biome is one of the most mysterious areas in the game.

It isn’t visually aggressive or dangerous - instead, it feels unnervingly quiet and otherworldly.

Characteristics:

• dense fog limiting visibility

• bright, muted color palette

• white flowers and delicate vegetation

• a sense of calm mixed with uncertainty

These are places that feel suspended between dream and reality, inhabited mainly by mist-type creatures.

The Toxic Biome

The Toxic Biome is a dark, swampy, and unhealthy part of the world, often resembling marshlands or infected sections of a forest.

Characteristics:

• toxic mushrooms

• greenish fumes and mist

• strange, sickly vegetation

• damp, heavy atmosphere

These are places where nature looks like something has gone wrong, and toxic-type creatures are especially common there.
