I'm actually working alot on the game since almost 2 months, added many things like a new gears system, Best lap time saves, new VFX.
I also reworked the physics of the vehicles, as they were too fast and had as a result forcing me to make tracks way too big, wich felt like the overall scale were off.
-> So I slowed down the vehicles, scaled down the maps by 25%, and everything feels way better now, sense of speed is till present, even if I still need some tweakings on the camera FOV's scaling with the speed.
In bonus, the vehicles are easier to control, they can now manage tighter turns while still having some weight to them, this enables me to create a bit more technical turns.
-> I've been reworking some tracks too, like Sardaigne Short, to make it slightly less of an oval, and added a technical part in the first turns, followed by a big jump to end on the big banked turn that is already present !
Right now I'm fixing an annoying bug, but when this will be done, I'll attack a visual overhaul, expecially for the environments !
-> The vehicles also had a visual upgrade, more details, and shapes reworked !
