Game Update 1.2.0: Fov Slider, Exclusive Fullscreen and Visual Effect Toggle

We just released the first major update to Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition, which includes a lot of the changes we outlined in our March Development Update. After the update the game should show 1.0.2(1000) in the bottom left corner of the main menu.

Full patch notes below:

General

• Added exclusive fullscreen display mode. The original Fullscreen mode is renamed to Borderless. Windowed mode is unchanged.

• Added a field of view (FoV) slider.

• Added a toggle for abnormal effects, which controls the intensity of chromatic abberation and vignette effect when characters are under abnormal status.

• On screen input prompts now correctly changes based on the control method used.

Localization

• Standardized Health Potion capacity upgrade talent in European/LATAM languages.

• Fixed an issue where the passive text on Chaos Silk is missing in European/LATAM languages.

• Fixed Benita's talent "Elixir Research" to correctly state its blessing related effect in European/LATAM languages.

Combat

• Widened parry/counterattack window for Terrence.

• Increased movement speed of Terrence and Norwood when locking onto enemies.

• Increased the effectiveness of Terrence's "Knight's Tenacity" talent (heavy attacks are harder to interrupt).

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue causing Viola's followed up attack after a Light Combo to miss enemies occasionally.

• Fixed several special effect issues.

What's Left Out There?

Out of the items we wish to address in our Development Update, there are a few things left we are releasing soon after and at later dates.

Steam Trading Card: we are finalizing the review process with Valve and will enable this feature once everything goes through.

UI Improvements: the changes to overall UI elements will take more time than we expected, and we want to make sure the final results meets your expectations and our own standard, so it will be included in an upcoming update.
