“Follow the rules to survive. Break them to come home.”

Paraxima is an asymmetric co-op psychological horror built on a foundation of methodical investigation. Our goal is to create a high-tension environment where mission success hinges on your ability to observe, identify, and contain the Entity - if you can survive the threat that long.

Our Approach: Systems-First Horror

Horror often has a shelf life; once the patterns are learned, the fear starts to fade. We are taking a"systems-first"approach to ensure the experience remains volatile. By integrating your tools with the environment, we’ve built a loop that rewards both intuition and expertise:

  • New Agents: Can use fundamental systems to learn how the Entity reacts to their presence and actions, and to deduce its character.

  • Veteran Agents: Can master the underlying rules while still finding room for experimentation and guesswork, ensuring the investigative loop never feels unrewarded or purely mechanical.

Tools of Investigation and Measurement

  • Core Tool Set: A core investigative toolset capable of rendering EM frequencies the naked eye cannot see or help you bug building systems.

  • Data-Driven Survival: Survival isn't just about running. You must “read the room” for paranormal clues and piece together the Entity’s character to neutralize the Breach.

  • Asymmetric Coordination: While balanced for a tight-knit trio, the experience adapts to your team. Coordinate closely to survive - or attempt a solo mission, if you dare.

The Path Ahead

This hub will be the primary source for all updates and news. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing deep dives into our core systems, the grounded realism of our environments, and the Essential Services Coordination (ESC) - the organization you'll represent as Agents in the field.

We are currently finalizing our Steam Next Fest Demo and preparing our 2026 Early Access Roadmap.
