addedHold on to your dentures, here are the latest crazy additions to the game! A personalized Grandpa, soon to be customizable: I spent almost two weeks modeling a new character for Grandpa, with the goal of strengthening the game's visual identity. Until now, I'd only used downloaded models. Now, this first version of Grandpa propels us towards a greater possibility of deeply customizing this world. The current version will be improved over time, but I was determined to dedicate time to Blender, and despite the challenges, I think I've made progress!
added🏜️ A "Between Retirement and Apocalypse" Lobby: No more empty space! I've grabbed my shovels and transformed the waiting lobby into a magnificent stylized desert (somewhere between cartoon and realistic). I even added the gentle sound of the wind for ambiance. It's the perfect place to perfect your tan and warm up before the police show up. Put on some sunscreen, it's going to be hot.
added🎯 Paintball: Grandpa's got his glasses on! No more shots going into the clouds or behind your own back (yes, Grandpa had a slight, temporary cataract problem). A new aiming system has been created! Now we have a real third-person shooter (TPS) system: when you aim, Grandpa automatically aligns himself with the camera. You can do sidesteps while spraying your friend with paint with surgical precision. Bam, right in the head!
changed💨 The "Turbo-Cassoulet" (Natural Gas Propulsion) This is THE feature I'm most proud of (and probably the most absurd). To help Grandpa take off despite his arthritis, I've integrated a... gastric propulsion system. Now, every jump is accompanied by a visual gas effect and a very elegant sound effect. And the best news? It's 100% synchronized in multiplayer. All your friends will be able to admire (and hear) your aerial exploits!
changedThe sound is spatialized in 3D: perfect for throwing a little clandestine rave behind a cactus.
addedA huge thank you for your support! If you want to help Grandpa in his fight, add the game to your Wishlist; it's what gives us the most strength.

Hey there, slipper rebels! 👴👵 Over the past few weeks, Grandpa has been taking his pills, reloading his (paint) gun, and getting a little facelift. I've been working like crazy on the game's feel so your multiplayer matches are as smooth as they are chaotic.

I'll try to bring back some live streams of the game's progress and development. I've gotten used to developing on my own, but why not show you what goes on behind the scenes too!
📻 The Rebellion Boombox: Because a heist is never done in silence, I've placed an interactive radio in the middle of the dunes.
Aim at the radio and press E to blast the music.
Press F to skip to the next track!
The sound is spatialized in 3D: perfect for throwing a little clandestine rave behind a cactus.
🛠️ Osteopath Visits (Bug Fixes)
Anti-Moonwalk: Grandpa had a tendency to slide sideways, like Michael Jackson with a bad back. I realigned his hips, and now he finally walks straight!
Cardio: Footsteps now naturally speed up when you go from walking to sprinting. You can clearly hear his little legs moving.
Flexibility: The transitions between running and jumping have been smoothed out. Grandpa now soars with the grace of a gazelle.
A huge thank you for your support! If you want to help Grandpa in his fight, add the game to your Wishlist; it's what gives us the most strength.
I'm going back to work, so get your paintballs ready—a new playtest is coming in two weeks!
