Major update after Next Fest

Hi, everyone. I have been working non-stop after the Steam Next Fest to improve our game according to the amazing feedbacks I have received.

Hi, everyone. I have been working non-stop after the Steam Next Fest to improve our game according to the amazing feedbacks I have received. I am very excited to give you the details of the update:

  • 2 new playable characters Crow and Turtle has been added.

  • Whole game is redone visually.

  • Both In-game and menu UI's are completely redone.

  • A tutorial has been added.

  • +35 relic has been added to the game.

  • A new mechanic called Overkill Bar has been added.

  • Difficulty has been lowered. What I want to do eventually is to make this game available to both more casual players and harcore veterans of roguelites. I will implement a permanent upgrade system, with option to start runs with increased difficulty level after completing them once.

  • The game is more violent now. There is even more blood and added screen shake and some animations to make it more alive.

  • I have re-composed the soundtrack which is even more energetic now. Balanced the sounds so that SFX and music blend better.

  • Increased decorations and re-structured the color palette.

  • Redone the tiling systems so that levels feel more alive.

  • Changed the weapons system. Now each character has an unique infinite starting weapon. Players can pickup 2 more weapons, 3 in total.

  • Added shadows

  • Added animations to UI components to create more reactive UI.

  • I have redone the steam page including a new trailer.

  • Added feedback and discord buttons to the main menu. I value your opinion and you are the reason that this game keeps improving non-stop. Tell me what I can do better and I will do it.
