changedThe last weeks I have been working hard on a lot of quality of life features (better mouse sensitivity settings, configurable field of view, user interface changes and additions). Also squashed a couple of minor bugs. Most of this came out of (very valuable) feedback from our discord community. We were holding a small scoped closed beta.
addedThis week I'm also adding iron and steel containers.
changedSimilarly to the upgraded inserter versions, I've also made it so you can easily upgrade a lower end container into a higher end container by just clicking on them while holding the higher end container version. The inventory will automatically be upgraded.

One month away from early access release!

The last weeks I have been working hard on a lot of quality of life features (better mouse sensitivity settings, configurable field of view, user interface changes and additions). Also squashed a couple of minor bugs. Most of this came out of (very valuable) feedback from our discord community. We were holding a small scoped closed beta.

But also sneaked in a game addition this week: Up until now we only had copper containers. These had 4 storage slots, which isn't a lot but convenient enough for many purposes.

This week I'm also adding iron and steel containers.

These unlock once you research iron and steel manufacturing, are made by up-crafting the more basic container versions. The iron container contains 8 output slots and is made at the assembly table using a copper container and an iron frame. The steel container contains 16 output slots and is made at the assembly table using an iron container and 4 steel bars.

Similarly to the upgraded inserter versions, I've also made it so you can easily upgrade a lower end container into a higher end container by just clicking on them while holding the higher end container version. The inventory will automatically be upgraded.

There is more, but that will be for another post.
