Hi everyone!
I’m getting a lot better after my broken shoulder — if you’re on Discord you probably already know 🙂 Recovery is going well and I finally feel comfortable getting back to a more regular development pace.
Today I’m really happy to present the first update this year. My goal is to release updates more often from now on and keep expanding the game with more systems, content, polish, and quality-of-life improvements. Thank you for being patient while I recovered.
New Features & Content
Mill Station
-Added a fully functional Mill Station at Goodwin Farm
-You can now craft Flour from Wheat
-To unlock it, you’ll need to complete a quest and repair the mill first
-This is part of expanding the farming production chain and will be used in more recipes in future updates

New NPC — Eliza
-Meet Eliza, who is responsible for animals at Goodwin Farm
-She introduces new gameplay through 3 unique quests
-Each quest offers different rewards and helps guide you through new systems like animals and horses

Horse Riding (BETA)
-Horses are finally here! This is an early version and marked as BETA
-You can unlock horse riding by completing a special quest from Eliza
-Ride in first person or third person
-Current features include: horse health system, ability to respawn horse at Goodwin Farm, basic riding mechanics.
-Since it’s still early, you may encounter bugs or rough edges

Chicken Coop Building
-You can now build a Chicken Coop at your farm via the Renovation menu
-Raise chickens, feed them, and collect eggs
-Chickens require water and wheat to stay productive
-Fully integrated with: Save system, sleeping/time progression, farming resource loop
This is a fully implemented feature and will be expanded with more animal mechanics later
New Tools
-Added Kitchen Knife
-Added Baking Tray
-Some existing recipes have been updated and now require proper tools, making cooking progression more meaningful
New Items
-Wheat, Flour, Egg. Chicken, Egg Toasts
These items are part of the expanded farming and cooking chain
-Bread Baking. You can now bake bread, it requires Flour, Eggs, and a Baking Tray
Quest System Update
-Quest system now automatically updates when loading a save. This helps correctly mark older quests as completed if they previously bugged out
-Improves overall save reliability
Bug Fixes & Improvements
-Fixed issues with the “Bee Hives” quest
-Fixed bug where crafting stations showed knowledge requirements that were not actually required
-Fixed cooking station issues at Goodwin Farm where tools were not displaying properly
-Localization improvements and added missing text
-Added small immersion sounds (like fixing objects)
-Improved enemy spawning logic — enemies should now appear less often in strange or unintended locations
-General small stability and polish improvements across systems
