Out and About changes
Hey foragers!
We finally have the honesty stall update ready to go!
We know that since our changes to the economy, many of you are struggeling with getting town treasury (the silver currency). So for the time being, we made the honesty stall earnings 100% Town Treasury. This is not the final version, we will tweak this in the new year when our designer returns and can look at the economy again. But we're super grateful that you're all helping us figure out what the best balance should be!
You will now find honesty stalls at the campsites that you have cleaned up, meaning you can unlock them already in Spring. If you played through spring already, they will just be at the campsites where you can interact with them.
For now you can sell 3 items over 2 days. But this is all tweakable as part of our economy investigations in 2026, so write down any feedback you have and let us know then :)
We also fixed/changed the following in Patch 0.2.6:
Changes
Put more Lavender patches at Ruined Hotel at Shining Waters
Fixed #REF error in field guide (which didn't show the plants identifiers)
Increased 1 star crafted item value by 10%
Add item value display to market (DEV also honesty stall)
Created new notification system in cellphone, telling you when honesty stalls are ready
Fixes:
Fixed an Annie quest description
Fixed Norway Spruce Language error
Fixed issue where some players could get stuck on Annie's Seaspray Woods Campsite quest
Goodybe 2025... Hello 2026!
It’s been just over 4 months since we released the game into Early Access, and we couldn’t be more proud of our community. You are all AMAZING! So kind, patient, and understanding. It truly warms our hearts to have such a beautiful community ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
As you know, this is our first game, and we’ve already been working on it for 4 years. Along the way, we made plenty of mistakes while learning the craft of game development. And even after all this time, we still have so much to learn and improve. But thankfully, we’re not alone anymore. With the game now in Early Access, we finally have you, the players, supporting us on this journey.
Game design and development is really hard. There are so many possible choices, all interconnected, and all tied to real costs. As an indie studio, our resources are limited, so we can’t always do everything we’d love to do. But we truly believe that with your help, we’ll figure out what matters most and focus our energy there.
Here are the most important updates planned for 2026:
Localisation: German
We're currently reviewing and improving the spring narrative (making the journeys for each character deeper and more meaningful). We will then start localising in German in Januar 2026 - that's because we can proofread it ourselves and see if the quality is good. We'd likely launch this before or with the Autumn update.
Autumn Update (likely around March 2026)
New Area (mountains!)
Lots of mushrooms!
New story & quests
Lots of new recipes!
and interactive cooking! (we will investigate some options early 2026)
Localisation: Other Languages
(French, Chinese, Portugese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese)
These will be launched with the Autumn Update, ideally, or slightly after.
1.0 Update (Q3 2026)
Here we will listen to your player feedback on what features you care about the most! Our ideas are:
Crafting
Decorating (includes kitchen-skin swapping)
Gardening
Console release (Switch, Xbox)
These features would all unlock early in the game, completely reshaping the gameplay experience - making it a lot more varied and diverse.
We hope you’re feeling just as excited as we are! Enjoy a relaxing festive time, and have a wonderful start to the new year!
