Hello everyone ! After several months of work, we are back with a brand new demo update ! This update mainly introduces major new gameplay mechanics : Tokens and Buildings.

addedThis update mainly introduces major new gameplay mechanics : Tokens and Buildings. Tokens allow you to create links more efficiently and travel faster across the galaxy, but most importantly they let you construct buildings on planets. Each building has a unique effect and synergies depending on the planet’s colors.
changedWe iterated a lot on this system to find the balance allowing many different strategies and playstyle. We are really excited to finally let you try it out! (and potentially break it too)

This update mainly introduces major new gameplay mechanics : Tokens and Buildings. Tokens allow you to create links more efficiently and travel faster across the galaxy, but most importantly they let you construct buildings on planets. Each building has a unique effect and synergies depending on the planet’s colors.

We iterated a lot on this system to find the balance allowing many different strategies and playstyle. We are really excited to finally let you try it out! (and potentially break it too)

Tokens & Buildings

  • Lost Capsules - Added capsules scattered throughout the galaxy that grant Tokens.

  • Construction Slots - Each planet now has 7 building slots.

  • Added navigation Tokens - There is for now 3 navigations token : Space Link, Link Weaver, Dash Linker.

  • Added construction Tokens - There is for now 9 construction tokken : Observatory, Hospital, Space Shipyard, Shuffler, Laboratory, O’Clock Hospital, Mega Factory, Extractor and Deposit. Feel free to experiment with them and find the bests strategies !

General Gameplay

  • Reworked the level-up system and bonuses.

  • Added the foundation for meta progression - You can now earn a salary after each run that allow you to unlock new captain, ship, cosmetics and other bonuses.

  • Added a new captain - Kritty

  • Added a new enemy - Hunger

  • You can now rename your captain so be creative.

UI & UX

  • Added new icons for planets and buildings.

  • Added unique icons for every abilities.

  • Reworked Shop UI - It now include Tokens and normally a heal that can't be missed.

  • And lots of other minor tweaks.

Audio

  • Brand new soundtrack composed by the very talented Thibaud Francois (check his soundcloud please, he is doing an incredible work)

Other

  • Reworked Tutorial - The tutorial has been reworked for better understanding and to introduce the new mechanics.

  • Small visual adjustments to the main menu to match the new visuals.

  • Updated FX for the Red Mist - Brand new FX for the red mist for better clarity (it's very scary now)

  • Performance overhaul - The game should run more smoothly, or at least as well as before, with improved graphics to top it off.

  • Various adjustment and improvements - We won’t list them all here, as it would take too long to describe them all

Thank you all so much for your support and feedback throughout development. We’ve put a huge amount of work into this update over the past few months, and we’re incredibly excited to finally share it with you.
