Today, we’re excited to introduce you to our digital marketing expert, Daylen.

She’ll be gathering feedback on what you’d like to see in our new Metroidvania, so we can deliver exactly what our community wants.

“As a lifelong fan of Metroidvania's parent genres, I’ve always been captivated by what makes these games so special. My mission is to dive deep into the community, understand its desires, and ensure that Orin delivers on those expectations. We’re committed to creating a game that resonates with the Metroidvania community. By listening to your feedback and analyzing your preferences, we’re able to shape Orin into the best possible experience.”

A Self-Made Digital Marketer

Daylen didn’t follow the traditional path into marketing. She’s been self-taught since she began her B.Sc. in Biochemistry at the University of Havana.

“I started exploring the world of digital marketing in my second year of college. I taught myself the basics, which later helped me land my first clients during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. I’d say my greatest learning experience came from facing the real world before I was 'completely ready.' There’s nothing like making big mistakes, learning from them, and constantly improving to become who you aspire to be."

“I’m also a cat lover and proud cat mom. I enjoy great films—mostly American, I’ll admit—and I’m obsessed with staying up-to-date by listening to podcasts. Lately, I’ve become a huge fan of Orin and have been racking up hours playing the test version. But to see just how good I am, you’ll need to watch the video!”
