This update brings massive AI improvements, enhanced visuals, new gameplay features, and major performance upgrades. Enemies now fight smarter than ever, using better cover mechanics, improved flanking strategies, and more precise shooting. Plus, Unreal Engine 5.5 integration delivers improved performance, lighting, and reflections.

Enemies now fight smarter than ever, using better cover mechanics, improved flanking strategies, and more precise shooting. Plus, Unreal Engine 5.5 integration delivers improved performance, lighting, and reflections.

Engine & Graphics Updates (UE 5.5 Integration)

Lumen & Rendering Improvements:

  • Lumen HWRT optimizations ensure better performance while maintaining high visual fidelity.

  • Improved Lumen Global Illumination (GI) and reflections.

  • New hit-lighting for GI, offering a more accurate way to calculate GI and reducing the limitations of static meshes.

  • Updated reflection denoiser, significantly improving sharpness in low roughness reflections and enhancing translucent surfaces with refraction in reflections.

New Scene Capture & Render Pass Capabilities:

  • Scene captures and custom render passes now mirror the main view’s camera and resolution.

  • Includes support for temporal AA jitter and screen percentage adjustments.

AMD FSR 3.1 Support:

  • Improved upscaling image quality, reducing flickering, shimmering, and ghosting.

  • Selectable Anti-Aliasing (AA) options unlocked: FXAA, TSAA, TSR are no longer locked to TSR.

  • Quality settings for each option can be adjusted.

  • FSR 3.1 fully integrated – TSAA or TSR recommended for higher-end hardware.

AI Overhaul - Smarter, Harder, More Tactical

The AI has been significantly upgraded, making enemy combatants more aggressive, intelligent, and reactive to player movement and cover mechanics.

  • Improved AI Accuracy: AI aims better and lands more shots, making engagements more intense.

  • Better Cover Usage: Enemies now properly hold and use cover, moving between positions instead of blindly rushing.

  • Flanking & Tactical Movement: AI is more likely to strafe, flank, and reposition, making them much harder to predict.

  • Enhanced Defensive Behaviors: AI now works together, supporting teammates rather than rushing into danger alone.

Major Line-of-Sight Fixes:

  • AI can now correctly see through glass doors (previously, they couldn't).

  • Fixed AI shooting through edges when acquiring targets around corners.

  • AI will now react appropriately when spotting you through transparent surfaces.

  • Fixed Guard AI Targeting Issues.

Gameplay Fixes & Enhancements

Night Vision System Overhaul:

  • Reworked night vision system to better reflect real-world functionality.

  • Dynamic adjustments to varying lighting conditions.

  • Realistic visual noise for a more immersive experience.

  • Newly designed widget overlay for improved usability.

UI & Interaction Updates:

Door Interaction and UI:

  • "Kick Door" text now turns red when within kicking distance.

  • Fixed doors no longer playing an open sound when kicked open.

UI:

  • Fixed player healing while already being healed by a medic.

  • Fixed hand location on the weapon after canceling self-healing.

Weapon & Projectile Adjustments:

  • Gun projectile improvements: Glass breaking is now more consistent and accurately reacts to bullet impacts.

  • Adjusted glass sound attenuation for more realistic spatial sounds.

  • New glass sounds implemented for all windows.

Environmental Fixes & Adjustments:

  • Buoy in Villa now properly destroys when shot or hit with a grenade.

  • Fixed door destruction mechanicsAdjusted damage thresholds, ensuring doors with windows break more realistically.
  • Fixed navigation issues on Federal Building: Hostages can now properly navigate the front area.

  • Fixed flare and character run sound replication issues.

  • Cleaned up and rebalanced audio in general

Nanite Adjustments:

  • Fixed shadow flickering issues on chest rigs.

  • Various Skeletal Meshes set to Nanite now
