Grapple through the skies, complete 6 new Shrine Challenges, and explore a world rebuilt from the ground up!

NEW FEATURES:

  • Added the Grapple Tongue mechanic to all animals

  • Added 6 new Shrine Challenges

  • Rebuilt world generation from the ground up, replacing the shader based heightmap system with individual islands

  • Added the ability to pick up and carry downed players for revival

  • Added support for caves, floating islands, and more complex landscape materials

  • Added random boss combinations

  • Added waterfalls and sandfalls

  • Added the ability for fish to swim up waterfalls

  • Fruits are now knocked back when your energy is full

  • Added a sun and moon indicator to the compass to show the day/night cycle

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Improved game performance by up to 30%

  • Improved the auto save system

  • Redesigned the biome detection system for biome fog and music

  • Improved navmesh generation

  • Rewrote all AI systems in C++ and introduced multithreaded execution for some tasks

  • Improved play area loading and background processes

  • Increased the update rate of the 2D map and compass

  • Improved pathfinding for boss AI

  • Added smoother flight patterns for bird AI

  • Improved swimming for aquatic AI

  • Increased stability and reduced lag during roll attacks on poor network connections

  • Improved LOD transitions for some 3D models

  • Updated water colors to change dynamically at night

  • Added water ripple effects when interactable items enter the water

  • Updated the tutorial to teach grappling

  • Updated tooltips with XP Cube and Grapple Tongue hints

  • Reduced the total game size to approximately 1 GB

CHANGES:

  • Remapped Roll/Bite to the Left Mouse Button

  • Moved Grapple Tongue to the Right Mouse Button

  • Clamped player positions to the boundaries of the 2D map

  • Increased the flight speed of all birds

  • Various animal balance adjustments

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed an issue where clients could not revive followers

  • Fixed sensitivity settings not saving when using a controller

  • Fixed an issue where players lost focus after receiving an in game invite, preventing them from selecting it

  • Fixed an issue where the Magician Hat interrupted the invincibility material effect

  • Fixed an issue where roll and spin abilities did not reset after death

  • Fixed birds occasionally landing in lava

  • Fixed large fish spawning beneath the map

  • Fixed hat interaction and network replication issues when a client joined or left a session while wearing a hat

  • Fixed all known crashes
