Once Upon The Universe changes
Civilizations no longer upgrade planetary buildings if the planet lacks enough population to fully staff the required jobs after the upgrade is completed.
Player-driven Inspire and Demand building upgrades can now override local employment limits, while autonomous civilization upgrades still require enough population to fully staff the upgraded building.
Colony ships now require real colonists from their source planet, cannot launch if doing so would understaff active buildings, Core Worlds are now displayed as Regional Capitals, and inhabited planets now track Happiness starting at 100%.
Added planet Happiness economy: habitability, employment, Capital and Regional Capital status now affect Happiness, and factory productivity is multiplied by local planet Happiness.
Building slots now consistently display level labels, including fixed-level buildings shown as Lv 1/1.
Added unemployment-based planet Happiness penalties and automatic population migration from less happy planets to happier planets within the same civilization.
Added population change breakdown tooltips, migration-aware population trends, famine protection for newly formed civilizations, and biosphere/poor-population based natural agriculture employment.
Added unemployment-driven social class degradation
Added detailed planet Population and Agriculture Employment tooltips explaining growth, migration, and food-worker employment sources.
Improved war logic: civilizations can no longer randomly sign peace before the first real battle or planet capture occurs.
- Demand actions are now more forcefultheir success chance is doubled, but failed Demands create a fixed Creator Antagonism backlash.
Creator Influence and Creator Dread now share the remaining control pool with Creator Antagonism. When the pool is full new Influence replaces Dread and new Dread replaces Influence instead of exceeding the 100% total.
Added Pioneer Resolve, a temporary planetary condition for newly founded colonies that boosts Happiness and prevents early population loss while the colony stabilizes.
- Changed civilization birth science handlingnew civilizations no longer receive large free Science rewards from automatically mapped home system discoveries before performing actual exploration.
