Powerful Powerups:

Powerful Powerups can now appear in the world when enemies are defeated. When picked up, they cause a multitude of different effects. The effect include:

  • Heal: Spawns a healing circle, that heals one health point.

  • Speed: Increases movement speed for a limited time.

  • Strength: Increases damage dealt for a limited time.

  • Double Stars: Doubles all collected stars for a limited time.

  • Black Hole: Pulls in all stars in the game world.

  • Freeze: Slows down all enemies drastically and applies stacks of frost to them

  • Supernova: Defeats all non-elite enemies in the world. Elite enemies take damage and receive the burning effect

The spawn rate of each powerup is not equal, some powerups are more likely to appear than others.

Enhanced Enemies:

Regular enemies can now spawn in their enhanced variation. Enhanced Enemies are clearly discernable by their purple shade and the number of stars below them. The number of stars determines their enhancement level, ranging from 1 to 4. Enhanced Enemies have more health and deal more damage, but are moving slower. When defeated they drop an additional amount of stars.

Infinite Constellations:

All constellations have now received an additional star at the end of the constellation. While it is weaker than the regular stars of a constellation, this star is infinitely repeatable and serves as a key for some builds.

There currently is an infinite mode planned and it will be a vital part in order to make this mode happen.

Inventory:

Some quality of life changes have been introduced to the inventory:

  • The inventory is now sortable in two different ways: Newest and Quality

  • Additionally, there are now three gear loadouts from which you can quickly choose between. Your current loadout should be contained in the first loadout.

Constellations:

  • Constellation variation for Precision has been introduced. The variations overall effect is the increase of weapon spread and the number of projectiles, for a decrease in damage and projectile speed.

General:

  • Visuals have been introduced both for the slow down and rooted effects.

  • Qingwas projectiles now appear slightly transparent, in order to not block visibility.

  • Enemy projectiles now always appear above everything else, in order to always be noticeable.

  • Enemy movement behavior has been adjusted.

  • The description of the self revive skill has been made clearer.

  • Additional performance enhancements.

Bugfixes:

  • Star count now updates when something is purchased from the Stargazer

  • Ice cream sandwich now displays the correct name

  • Level display at the end of the game has been adjusted to not
