Hey everyone! First off, thank you for making the "Okko The Exiled Demo" a huge success! The demo has been downloaded thousands of times and it's been played thousands of times as well! You're blowing our minds! Also, thanks for all the feedback via the game's Community Hub, email, and everywhere else you've reached out!

Okko The Exiled changes
The short of this post is that the demo has to come down at some point, but we're leaving it up a bit longer, so even more people have a chance to discover/play the game.
Our data shows that a lot of people have downloaded the demo, but still haven't taken it for a spin. This could be for any number of reasons. Because of this, we're going to leave the demo "active" for a bit longer, and we'll do a post here and on Socials giving a heads up before it comes down.
In case you're unaware, when the demo becomes inactive, you won't be able to launch it anymore, even if you've already downloaded it.
Why remove the demo at all? Essentially, as we keep developing the game, addressing player feedback, polishing things up, adding new features, etc., the demo won't represent the full quality of the game. I don't think any developer wants an old demo representing their work at a certain point.
All that said, we'll look into possibly releasing another demo closer to the game's launch. It'd be awesome to have a pre-launch Okko demo, where save data carries over to the full game.
