addedIn this update we've included our fourth iteration of flight physics. It's a completely new system designed from the ground up to be much more dynamic and realistic than any of our previous updates. To further help with dialing in your throws we've included a new Power Meter attached to the FollowCam that will show you how close to perfect power you achieved. When you hit perfect power for a particular disc's speed rating the disc will perform the full desired flight path for that disc (just like in real life). If you're struggling to hit the perfect power you can adjust your throw power difficulty in the settings menu for ease of play.
addedAlso in this update there is a brand new home environment that fits in with the theme of disc golf. In the future, this new environment will also be the home for some new mini games, an interactive tutorial, and also used as a multiplayer lobby.
changedAside from that are some welcome quality of life changes and bug fixes. See the full patch notes below and as always, if you have any feedback for us or want to find players to match up with in multiplayer please join our discord!
fixedPhysics overhaul 4 is our new physics system designed from the ground up. This new system is much more dynamic and realistic than any previous physics iterations. - There is a new option in the settings menu to pick your “throw power difficulty”. It is suggested to test out these settings before starting a game. - New power meter attached to the FollowCam will show you the expected power range for each disc and where you fell within that range for each shot. - New home menu map that better fits the theme of the game. This will eventually also be used as the home for some new mini games, the interactive tutorial, and multiplayer lobby. - Replaced menu hover over sound with haptic feedback (vibration) instead - Feature removal: you can no longer see discs behind terrain. Some assumed this was a bug rather than a feature - in either case, it is removed. - Old video tutorials have been removed - these were heavily outdated and will be replaced by an upcoming interactive tutorial. - When in free mode the FollowCam will disappear promptly any time that you open your bag to take another shot - Fixed alignment of loading screen for main menu screen
