addedHorde SystemThe horde system has been reworked. Players now can place the totem to call horde waves. After defeating the horde players receive a perk point which can be used to unlock passive perks (e.g. more inventory slots). With each horde level the difficulty increases - players can remain at a specific horde level until they feel comfortable progressing. Night hordes are significantly weaker and adjust their strength to the current wave level on the totem. The amount of waves will be increased in the future, for now the totem supports 25 waves.

Combat Perks

Technology Perks

Players can now receive an immediate reward after defeating the night horde.

Inventory Expansion

Players can unlock up to 4 additional inventory slots in the perk menu. The first 4 slots are now accessible with hotkeys 1 to 4. Items can now be moved in the inventory by drag and drop.

Mineral Extractor

Players can place the mineral extractor at certain drill site locations to automatically harvest ores. When powered with 5 power units, the mineral extractor can harvest two types of ores:

  • iron ore (5 minutes per extraction)

  • copper ore (8 minutes per extaction)

The mineral extractor can store up to 8 ores, after which it must be emptied to continue harvesting.

In order to harvest copper, the corresponding perk must be unlocked. Currently, copper can be used to craft electrical components, but will be necessary for structure upgrades in the future.
