Hello, Colonists!
Since the 1.0 launch, we’ve been hard at work analyzing your data and reading every piece of feedback. It’s clear that while the scope of the game is exciting, some mechanics have become more of a chore than a challenge. For the upcoming v1.1 Major Update, we are focusing on making your Martian life smoother and more rewarding.
The Campaign Rework & Quest Logic
We are currently performing a comprehensive overhaul of the Campaign mode. Our main goal is to eliminate quest-related bugs and progression blockers. We’re restructuring the mission logic to ensure that triggers work correctly and that you always have a clear understanding of your objectives.
Economy & Quality of Life
Based on your feedback, we realized that the end-game often required an excessive amount of repetitive clicking - something that didn't feel like an issue during internal tests but became apparent in long-term play.
Bulk Resource Handling: We are reworking both the UI and game logic to allow players to obtain larger quantities of certain items at once (such as Organic Waste or bottles). We are currently testing the best solutions to make these interactions intuitive and efficient.
Cost Rebalancing: We’ve heard you regarding the high resource costs of mid-to-late game structures. We are significantly rebalancing the amount of Chemistry-related resources required for major projects, such as the ITS Rocket, to make game experience better in late game..
Technical Optimization & Co-op
Faster Loading: Optimization of save-file structures is underway to noticeably reduce loading times.
- Co-op SyncWe are deploying a new package of fixes for P2P stability, focusing on better synchronization between the host and other players.
A Scientific Collaboration: Solar Expanse
As a studio dedicated to Hard Science Fiction, we love seeing other teams tackle the challenges of space. Our friends from Game Ops are releasing Solar Expanse, a game that fits perfectly with the spirit of space exploration.
To celebrate their launch, we’ve teamed up for a special"Martian Expanse Bundle". If you enjoy deep systems and space management, you can check it out here:

What’s Next?
Right now, we are rigorously testing these changes to ensure that the version you receive is as polished as possible. Once we are confident in its stability, we plan to make it available on a testing branch for you to try out before it goes live for everyone.
We truly hope these improvements will help regain your trust and change the minds of those who felt overwhelmed by the game’s initial hurdles. Stay tuned for upcoming devlogs where we will share more detailed information and changelog!
