addedObscura has been released! I want to say a few words and also thank everyone who supported the development. Obscura was not designed to be a game in the sense, so there is no quest, finish or end. I posted the text below in the forums, but it is probably good to have it here aswell. This experience shares a genre with the following apps and embraces VR as a new medium. The Blu Rick and Morty Everest Batman Arkham VR If you like these and are a horror fan, that wants ultra high production values and comfort, you will most likely enjoy Obscura. If you are a hardcore gamer, expecting a hardcore game, frustration will eliminate every possibility of triggering fear inside the brain, which is sad, but not everyone can like every kind of art. And there is alot of room for diversity in VR. Not just for games. Alot of thoughtful detail work went into Obscura, i know not many people care about small things, like having UI text rendering at a higher resolution than the rest etc. But you will notice these things when they are missing or when something just feels wrong. But in the end, all the details help to have an experience which can be enjoyed by everyone, even people who never used VR before. I wish everyone alot of fun with Obscura, maybe you share the experience with your family/ friends and let them wear the mask to watch their reaction.
