Today, I am happy to update the demo with all the new art and a ton of features leading up to the Early Access in 2 weeks.
Some things are locked in the demo, which will be available at launch (April 28th):
Storm + Witch Packs.
Endless Mode.
Steam Achievements.
20+ Perks (you will have the 4 starter perks in the demo).

If I had to list all the changes here, it would take up too much space... There are literally houndreds of additions and changes.
So I have compiled the highlights:
Full Art Overhaul. All graphics in the game are handcrafted by 3 talented artists, and the game overall is much more polished.
New Animations that follow the framerate to become a lot smoother.
New Ranking System. 3 Divisions in each rank. Rating gain changes with ranks, and Grandmaster requires 10K rating.
New improved matchmaking system.
Tower Skins added.
Player Titles added (log in to get the Veteran title!)
New Luck mechanic added. You gain a little luck on day 3, 8, 11, 16. This is the chance to obtain a Lucky Reroll (which was exclusive to Carmen before..)
New Lucky Rerolls added to the game.
Many balance changes to items.
New Mechanic: Charges. Items with Charges can only trigger X times.
New items added, including Recharge Rod (Neutral Epic item). Recharges 1 charge of item to the right.
New Feature: Enemy Preview. You can now see a small preview of the enemy before you enter the fight. It shows 1 random item + most common type in their tower.
Many balance changes.
Some encounter options have been reworked, including: Sage, Elven Archer, Master Alderos and King Midas.
New Feature: Slot Buffs. These are buffs that applies to a specific slot in the tower. Items in that slot recieve a buff, and some of the slot buffs increase in strength throughout the course of the game. They are obtainable through encounters and perks.
New Accessibility Settings. (Colorblind mode is WIP.)
And many more tweaks and changes.
Dev comment on the old art
I also wanted to acknowledge those of you who will mourn the old art using store bought assets and pixel art dawn by yours truly. It means a lot to know that despite how that version of the game looked, you loved it.
The updated art was always intended and working with artists felt necessary to give the game the best chance of reaching as many players as possible at launch.
I can assure you that the game remains identical underneath and I'll be continuing to refine and tweak both the gameplay and visuals based on community feedback during Early Access period.
