Okay so this one took a while but it's finally out and i'm genuinely excited about it.
Here's everything that landed in this update:
7 languages are now in the game. Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French and German. i wanted these to actually feel native and not like they were run through a translator, so a lot of care went into each one. if something feels off in your language - a line that sounds weird, a formatting issue, anything - please drop it in the comments. i'd rather know and fix it than leave it broken.
Two ending previews are now in the demo. The Return and The Reality both have preview sequences in now. if you've played the demo before, there's actual new stuff to see at the end.
Achievements are in. yes, finally. go find them.
Lighting and atmosphere got a full pass. Dunmore Street should feel noticeably heavier now. a few areas that felt flat before have a lot more character. if you replayed the demo after this update you probably noticed it without even knowing what changed - that's kind of the goal with atmosphere work.
Bug fixes and additional story content. a handful of things that were quietly annoying are gone, and there's more story woven in for people who explore carefully. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
