addedToday’s devlog is about one of the new free base game features we will be introducing on May 23rd along with the DLC release.

addedIntroducing Lightning ModeDuring these months, we’ve been working on new performance improvements, and we were able to make huge progress. This opened a new window to introduce the very requested feature of Hyper-mode or as we called it, Lightning Mode .

changedIntroducing Lightning ModeIf you choose to play Lightning Mode, the overall speed of the game will be increased making runs much more frantic.

changedIntroducing Lightning ModeThere won’t be any kind of penalty by using this mode. You’ll earn the same amount of seeds as usual, be able to participate in Adventure mode, ranked runs (Ragnarok), and Daily Challenges. The time posted for your Ragnarok or Daily Challenge run will be automatically recalculated to match the “regular” time speed of a standard run.

This feature is for everyone, as it will be included in Survivors of Ragnarok (the base game).

Introducing Lightning Mode

During these months, we’ve been working on new performance improvements, and we were able to make huge progress. This opened a new window to introduce the very requested feature of Hyper-mode or as we called it, Lightning Mode.

If you choose to play Lightning Mode, the overall speed of the game will be increased making runs much more frantic.

There won’t be any kind of penalty by using this mode. You’ll earn the same amount of seeds as usual, be able to participate in Adventure mode, ranked runs (Ragnarok), and Daily Challenges. The time posted for your Ragnarok or Daily Challenge run will be automatically recalculated to match the “regular” time speed of a standard run.

You’ll be able to access this game mode once you conquer 5 realms for the first time. After that, you’ll be able to switch between normal speed and Lightning mode whenever you want.
