Relic Ban

As the number of relics keeps increasing (we will be adding at least 25 new ones on the May update) it feels imperative to have a new tool to ban the ones we don’t want to appear on a run.

After the success of the Relic Exchanger, which helps you choose specific relics you want in your next run, the Relic Ban was the perfect match to customize your runs much more.

This being said, Custom Mode won’t be that useful anymore, but it will still be available in case you really liked to use that feature.

I will look something like this:

How does the Relic Ban work?

It’s very straightforward: spend some seeds to ban relics of your choice and those relics won’t appear on the next run.

  • The seed cost won’t be high, as the aim of this feature is not to be grindy, but useful to ban relics you don’t want to appear. The cost to ban a relic will depend on its rarity.

  • You’ll be able to create different save slots just as there are in the Yggdrasil panel.

  • This feature will be also added to the Remnants of Corruption DLC, but instead of seeds, shards will be used.

  • The number of relics you can ban is limited, as there must be a minimum amount of relics of each rarity in every run.

  • We’re open to suggestions and feedback regarding this new feature!

Next week we will post about Lightning Mode (also a free update for everyone on May 23rd!)

Wishlist new DLC!

  • 3 New Realms

  • 1 New Character + Skins

  • 3 Themed Skins, each one for a different survivor and related to each of the new realms.

  • New relics, both active and passive.

  • New soundtrack
