Patch Notes for Nomori Demo up to 0.1.56

0.1.56 Reworked the character Blobshadow to help with platforming. Before the drop shadow did not work on grass, which is a large part of the game.

  • Added localized Sprites for the game title in the main menu for Korean, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

  • Made fixes to certain lighting elements that cause flickering when going through portals.

  • Fixed a bug where the first Kodama meet dialogue would also happen when talking the first Kodama you interact with is not in the same orientation as you. Now it plays the correct wrong orientation dialogue.

  • Made Audio adjustments to when certain level music would trigger.

  • Made geometry adjustment to the bounce crossing in Arrival, making the jump easier and helping guide the player better where to go.

  • Made it so regardless of which Kodama you rescue first it plays the Kodama introduction dialogue.

  • Fixed a bug where the Reset introduction UI would stick on the second playthrough.

  • Made French Language selection accessible while using a controller.

  • Added better camera angles related to important information in conversations. For instance showing the Gate out of the level when it is first introduced or showing a Root ring when portal rotation gets introduced.

  • Added an autosave after important dialogue. For example whenever you receive a new power the game will now automatically save.Making it so you don’t have to redo important conversation and cutscenes if you accidentally yeet yourself into the endless sky.

  • Made changes to geometry in Way of Wind. After jumping into the pink portal leading up a bunch of treestumps behind the level. You will now find a tunnel that leads you back to a portal which takes you back to the normal orientation.

  • Added a small cutscene in Way of Wind showing how Ponta vavooms himself to he gate at the end of the level.

  • Changed the appearance of the Yuki conversation rocks to be a bit more distinct from the other rocks you will find on the islands.

  • Made some adjustments to props in various levels to avoid skips and to improve pathing.

  • Added a showcase level that is accessible through the cheat menu. Cheats accessible with CTRL + SHIFT + ~ 'tilde'

  • Added cutscene skipper in cheats

  • Added test environment scene accessible via cheatmenu.
