removedEnemies now grow suspicious before they chaseWe rebuilt detection from scratch. It is no longer a "spotted you / didn't" switch: each enemy builds up suspicion, stops to look, walks to the last place it heard you, and sweeps the area before giving up. Your stealth depends on what you do — crouching, walking, running and carrying your lamp on all change how much noise you make and how easy you are to see.

Multiplayer: new waiting room

Multiplayer now starts in a pre-game lobby. Invite friends straight from Steam, watch them join with their avatar and name, mark yourself ready, and let the host hit Start once everyone is in. Latecomers can still join a run that is already underway.

Difficulty selector

Three settings: Easy, Normal and Hard. Difficulty controls how many objects vanish from the house. On Hard, every lever also steals back three objects you had already returned. The host picks it from the waiting room and can change it while friends are still arriving.

Enemies now grow suspicious before they chase

We rebuilt detection from scratch.

New enemy: the blind hunter

It cannot see a thing. It only hears. Breaking line of sight will not save you: you have to stop moving.

End-of-run summary screen

Winning or losing no longer just fades out. You now get a full breakdown of the run — items found and placed, sales, damage taken, times you were spotted, sanity breakdowns, distance travelled, time played — and the paycheck those numbers earned you.

Steam achievements and stats

First batch of achievements, plus Steam stat syncing, so your lifetime totals follow you across sessions and machines.

The lamp no longer burns fuel

The fuel system is gone entirely. The lamp switches on and off freely; tension now comes from stress, which climbs while you are out in the dark and eases when you step back into the light.

The game speaks 11 languages

Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean — 155 strings translated and reviewed.

Stability and polish

We rewrote the multiplayer networking from the inside out: runs now hold together more reliably and stay better synced between players. The interface got a pass too, with panel transitions and hover feedback.
