Nitroglycerine! changes
Hello everyone!
Steam Next Fest is coming to an end, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who tried our game and shared feedback. We’re truly humbled and excited by your interest. We’ve received many great suggestions and questions, so we decided to make this post to address the most common ones.
PHYSICS AND SLIDING
The most frequent feedback was about truck handling — too much sliding, strange “magnet points,” and unpredictable physics in some areas. We’re happy to say we’ve already found and fixed these issues in full version. Trucks now behave much more realistically and no longer feel like “cows on ice.”
CONTROLLER SUPPORT
We’ve noticed that many of you prefer playing with a controller. While the game was originally designed for keyboard and mouse, we completely agree that full controller (and even steering wheel) support is essential for a game like this. We’re dedicating time to polishing it, testing various devices, and improving responsiveness.
SETTINGS MENU
Yes, the lack of settings in the demo was our oversight. The first version of the settings system didn’t make it into the festival build but is already implemented in the main game. It currently includes the basic essentials, and we plan to expand it with more customization options over time.
VR, CONSOLES, AND LANGUAGES
We’ve also seen requests for VR support. We respect all platforms, including VR, and plan to work on that once the full PC release is complete. Our goal is to build a solid foundation first — after that, console and VR versions will naturally follow. We also plan to add more languages to make the game accessible to players worldwide.
And now, some good news.
While you’re playing the demo, we’re hard at work on the full release — which is not far away!
In the meantime, take a look at these beautiful screenshots!
To sum up:
The festival gave us a chance to meet you — our audience — and that means a lot to us. We’ve already made many improvements based on your feedback and will continue to listen and refine the game.
Thank you so much for your support and trust!
With respect and gratitude,
The Avoidance Team
