This update 1.0.2 has been ongoing for a while, it brings some quality of life improvements and other fixes, as well as an overhaul on the 'exterior' scene of the game.
I have tried to minimize the slow pacing and clinginess of the game with the following :
Faster dialog text speed (even faster would break most cinematics, wich are time-based)
Many cinematics are slightly faster
Exterior visual overhaul + dirt path that increase movement speed by 20%
Faster character rotation (more comfortable combat)
Text box 'Tips' appears much faster in menu (3 seconds when idle)
More hints and tips as to how to progress at various stages of the story
Other important fixes :
Water - when leaving water colliders - caused flying behavior
Dragon - dialog camera getting stuck
Werewolf spawn/despawn issues
Stamina issues against Elizabeth
First lesson cinematic sometimes would get stuck
Other miscellaneous improvements :
Audio - various step sfx for path and wood floors
Audio - damage sound when taking damage
Doubled the twiggle Weeds drops
Dragon's fire does much less damage, allowing one to reach him easily
Elizabeths' invicibility melee cooldown is much lower
Lora - less good actions required for good ending
Death - Even less distance to reach 'death''s light
Death - Has now a gibberish voice
I apologize for the clinginess of the game,
for context, the fondations of this project are very much raw, it is most likely impossible to truly improve the character controller behavior and the cinematics unfolding without re-doing everything from scratch, wich i'm not willing to spend hundreds of hours into.
For those that appreciate and/or are interested in playing this quirky one, wait for the summer sales ;)
