The first video is this cool animation for entering a new map, very Resident Evil. What purpose does it serve? It looks neat.

I'ts a lot like the final chase scene from the default ending but while that one has a focus on opening doors and pushing things out of the way, this one is more focused on running away and your reflexes, as Trevor is way faster here and will always be on your tail.
