Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a small update about the future development cycle of Never Be Alone.

The response to the game has honestly gone way beyond anything I ever expected. The amount of views, comments, and wishlists in such a short time has been overwhelming in the best possible way. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to watch, comment, and support the game by wishlisting it, it truly means a lot.

My original marketing plan was to post a short video every single day on TikTok and YouTube. While I’ll still be posting videos, I’ve realized I simply don’t have the time to keep up with daily uploads and answer comments, work a full-time job, and give the game the development time it now clearly deserves. Sorry if that’s a bit of a bummer for some.

We’re still a very small team — usually only one person actively working at a time — but there are five brains behind the project, including a second developer who’s an absolute coding wizard. He’s also an amazing dad with two teenage children and works full-time in a high-intensity job as well. Thanks to all of you, we’ve already reached over 8.5k wishlists in just 4 days, which is completely crazy.

Because of this, my main focus now is doing my absolute best to make a game you’ll enjoy. I know I can’t make everyone happy, but I truly hope the majority of you will love what we’re building.

I’ll keep sharing updates and videos whenever I have something genuinely cool to show. And if anyone here enjoys creating short-form content and would like to help make small videos (like our Shorts) with friends, feel free to reach out to me on Discord. (We already have a few that would like to help with that)

Between a full-time job, getting married this summer, and aiming for a release later this year, it’s safe to say 2026 is shaping up to be one of the craziest years of my life. I’m only human — just someone with a big dream, doing my best to make it right.
