12/19 - Welcome to New Park City!

Hey everyone! We've been hard at work behind the scenes building a new version of park set in a massive city. This new city has some soaring skyscrapers, perfect for swinging on or sliding down.

addedWe've been hard at work behind the scenes building a new version of park set in a massive city. This new city has some soaring skyscrapers, perfect for swinging on or sliding down. We've also been fixing various bugs, namely the jitter on the player when framerates aren't super high. We have a lot in store for next year, so keep your eyes peeled for the exciting new content!
changedThe previous player update now allows us to add the much requested player-to-player grabbing, which we will continue to expand upon in the future. For comfort we have limited this to an opt-in setting, where other players can only grab you if you allow them to.
changedLastly, we are always looking for your feedback, suggestions and creations. addedLevels:Park has been completely reimagined into a new space: New Park City. It is more optimized and better looking, with lots to explore. It is bigger and better! - This is only the first iteration of New Park City, if you find that it's missing something from the old Park or feel that we need to add something to it, let us know!
fixedPlayer:Fixed jitter at high velocities or low framerates. - Overall player stability improvements. - Smoothed out vertical movement. - Fixed feet sticking out too far while crouched in air. - Fixed being able to punch while grabbing.

Here's what's been changed and added:

Levels:

  • Park has been completely reimagined into a new spaceNew Park City. It is more optimized and better looking, with lots to explore. It is bigger and better! - This is only the first iteration of New Park City, if you find that it's missing something from the old Park or feel that we need to add something to it, let us know!

Player:

  • Fixed jitter at high velocities or low framerates. - Overall player stability improvements. - Smoothed out vertical movement. - Fixed feet sticking out too far while crouched in air. - Fixed being able to punch while grabbing.

Interaction:

  • Added player to player grabbing. You can now grab other players' arms, hands, and head. - To allow other people to grab you, turn on player to player grabbing in the comfort settings menu. - Added an option in the in-game-menu to spawn in a sandbox gun from anywhere. Simply press on the button and a sandbox gun will spawn in front of you.

UI:

  • New nametag visual. - Added symbol to represent if another player allows other people to grab them.

Audio:

  • Adjusted collision impact sounds. - Adjusted gun fall off ranges and volumes. - Other audio tweaks.

Guns:

  • Jet Booster- Fixed force suddenly not applying when dropping frames. - Increased speed. - Grappling gun: - Increased reel in speed.
