addedAlright, folks. Welcome to this week's developer's diary. As the game is now testing on a new update pattern, we have moved on from daily updates to a more objective-focused update schedule. Thus, this week, the frequency of updates has reduced. But the content of the update is, on the other hand, increased. As I am now more focused on efficiency, let's get started by going over this week's content.
addedFor the story's purpose, the entire basement of that Church on the Hill has been finished. You can now find the helicopter fuel you will need to continue the story. However, things are not going to end that easily. Your action has been noticed.
changedThe Russian Colonel Rubikov will talk to you through a hidden speaker. Just as hinted in the previous story, you have been monitored by them since the moment you reached Siberia, and the entire town is actually a bio-weapon testing ground. He has not considered you an enemy. He thinks you are just another victim of Western propaganda.
changedOf course, he will take the chance to mock Ukraine, depicting the current ongoing war as a consequence of the West lying to Ukraine, making them give up nuclear weapons, while also not providing any real protection as promised. Just to make a point about how hypocritical the West is.
changedBut he is impressed by your skills. After all, you even survived a drunk Rasputin. So, he offers you a choice: when you meet in person, you can join his side instead. It will lead to two very different paths in the storyline. (There will be a lot of work to make this happen. But, this is the level of NEOLITHIA's freedom. Personally, I am more Rasputin-like anti-war. But, you will have the choice to go on a much wilder ride at the event.) After that, Rubikov will appear in your relationship list to track how much he likes or hates you, depending on your future actions.
changedHe is a Russian military guy and a commanding officer. Thus, his loyalty to his nation shall be unquestionable. Also, as he is commanding a very special force, he has ordered his troops to commit a lot of war crimes based on Western standards. However, from his perspective, all are premised on a higher purpose, such as for the good of Russia. Sounds familiar? You have seen such a kind of thinking many times before in this game and its design materials. "Extraordinary men are above ordinary moral laws and may commit crimes if it serves a higher purpose or benefits humanity." That's Rodion Raskolnikov from Dostoevsky's < > "Extraordinary individuals shall create their own values and operate beyond conventional morality." That's Nietzsche "In the actions of all men, and especially of princes, where there is no court to appeal to, one looks to the end." That's Machiavelli He is one of such people. His design is meant to make pro-Ukraine people uncomfortable. Otherwise, he will not be a great villain worthy of defeat. He will also be a powerful ally if you go on the pro-Russia path. After all, on this path, you will face many other powerful figures, such as the anti-war Rasputin, Yekaterina (her power was almost godlike in the SAPC++ era), and Ukraine's Budanov. Both paths will likely be fantasy beyond our reality. In our reality, the war will still likely end with a frozen frontline.

Thus, this week, the frequency of updates has reduced. But the content of the update is, on the other hand, increased. As I am now more focused on efficiency, let's get started by going over this week's content.

First of all, we shall clean up the rest of part 2 of the Siberia storyline. The Russian-Aligned Phoenician Mercenaries shall be more complete. They received an update on their faith, lore, and additional loot.

For the story's purpose, the entire basement of that Church on the Hill has been finished. You can now find the helicopter fuel you will need to continue the story. However, things are not going to end that easily. Your action has been noticed.

The Russian Colonel Rubikov will talk to you through a hidden speaker. Just as hinted in the previous story, you have been monitored by them since the moment you reached Siberia, and the entire town is actually a bio-weapon testing ground. He has not considered you an enemy. He thinks you are just another victim of Western propaganda.

Of course, he will take the chance to mock Ukraine, depicting the current ongoing war as a consequence of the West lying to Ukraine, making them give up nuclear weapons, while also not providing any real protection as promised. Just to make a point about how hypocritical the West is.

But he is impressed by your skills.

He is a Russian military guy and a commanding officer.

There is also another reason why, during the last month, the Russian side received a generally positive update. Over the past 4 years, I have held a pro-Ukraine position. I have been consistently posting things that many Russian folks may find offensive. Yet, Russia is still in the top three of this game's wishlist. We agree to disagree in silence. But when I post something they like, they post something in approval, and I appreciate that. It's simply not fair not to reward their endurance and understanding. In comparison, this week, some woke leftists once again came to complain about Charlie Kirk and Trump in the game. Who I shall favor is very clear.

Anyway, the story in Part 2 of the Siberia storyline is now coming to an end.

You will depart by helicopter in a cutscene to meet up with Yekaterina's resistance group. (Or, "terrorists and traitors" group according to Rubikov.)

Now the development focus shall return to the main story. To continue the story, which leads to the end of Chapter Three, we shall first discuss the consequences of the breach on the North Peak. You can obviously find out that the Christian holy order, the Eternal Staff, actually does not know the Nise Federation's plan. Or at least, they got a different version of the containment protocol. Their grandmaster will certainly be very angry after they are forced to retreat. Thus, a new cutscene has been prepared. It's called < >

Father Adamson went straight to Tanya, enraged, while Tanya was almost emotionless. Ah, yes, our beautiful Tanya. All old Stone Age Online players know his father's name. She has a heavily modified document of her father in her office. Only those who experienced that story in person know how the truth is distorted. A talented magician and businessman went on a journey to find the Garden of Eden to heal his dying wife, but he was one step too late. He also died soon after in sorrow and heartbreak. What a beautiful, tragic story. BUT IT WAS A LIE! The winner writes history. The daughter is now holding the position of a high-ranking NEOLITHIA officer, a very close ally to the President of the Nise Federation. The history, the narrative, is all under her control. (It got even easier with her unique power to go through parallel universes to peek into different timelines.) The Dark Elf King may have told you where those seemingly infinite universes were coming from. After all, we have so many "players" in history.

But that's not all. Do you know how her father fell? Do you know who her mother really is? Did you notice her eye color changes? Raerson has warned you.

In another cutscene, her true form shall be revealed! One of the most powerful demonesses in this game has been around all this time!

Genesis 6:1-4 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. ... The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Some demonesses are fallen angels. Some demonesses are female. Destine is simply a well-engineered and well-executed plan. Long before that Stone Age.

That shall kick-start our return to the main storyline.

Now, let's just look at something not so serious as desert after the main course. A wild CSA flag appeared! Why? Three reasons: 1, The leftists annoyed me. Content they hate shall be added. 2, An Asian man who protected his store from robbery and was forced to shoot a black man who pointed a gun at his son's head was jailed for 3 years back in Biden's administration. They have locked him up there for 3 years without parole. Now his name is finally cleared and honor restored. Yet, his life and his career have all been ruined. The leftists are still after him, calling him a murderer. It makes me angry. I am also Asian, and I have family in the US. 3, Alright, more game-related reason, Tanya's power is going across different timelines. The Council of Ten also built huge machines in their Sunken Library to "simulate" many "what-if" scenarios. So, naturally, we may come across a timeline where the Confederate States won later. Anyway, the flag is there. Those who like it can use it to decorate their very personal pocket dimension. Those who don't like it can burn it if they wish. Do whatever you want with it. Such is the freedom.

That's for this week. As mentioned in the previous announcement. I will be traveling to finish up some family business on June 9th, June 10th, and potentially June 11th. No update will happen during those days. June and July are also going to be quite busy. It's the burden of the crown. Yet, we shall all go forward for those who are no longer with us, for we are carrying on their legacy.
